Spirited Away || The Dragon Boy

I mean, the art and story were GORGEOUS and well put together, obviously, and it’s a fantastic film overall…but goddamn, do I love that music most of all. It’s just really quality, and the part that always annoys my brother and makes him leave, the bit where Chihiro and No-Face are riding the train, is my favorite JUST BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC. If the music were only half as good I’d be asleep at that part, I really would. But it’s super quality, so I stay and watch as if it were a really elaborately done music video.

Was I the only one that on my first watch of Spirited Away I paused the bits where we get to see Yubaba’s chambers and just stared? The only thought that crossed my mind when I saw those scenes was “I want to live there.” Tacky, my ass.
